Not because we're exclusive in a stuck-up way — but because the quality of the room is the whole thing. In a storytelling circle of eight people, one wrong person changes the temperature for everyone. So we don't take chances with the room.

Bring one story from your life. Childhood, last Tuesday, anything. We listen. Then someone else goes.

A small storytelling circle. 4–8 people. Each person shares one true story from their life — five minutes, ten minutes, however long it takes. No theme. No judges. No open mic energy.

about the price

₹2,499 per seat. Here's what that actually pays for: the venue (a real, private, comfortable room in Koramangala — not a café corner); the host's time and training; the identity verification of every person in the room; and the curation of who those people are. You're paying for the design of the room — who is in it, how it's run, and the trust that everyone in it has been vetted the same way you have.

It is not paying for tea and snacks. Those are present because two hours is a long time without water — but they are not the product. The product is the room. Once your spot is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable — venues, hosts, and infrastructure are paid for in advance based on confirmed headcount.

What we're trying to be.

Small.

Four to eight people per event. Not because bigger isn't possible — but because bigger isn't quieter. In a storytelling circle, eight is the upper limit before someone stops feeling safe enough to share.

Invitation-only.

Every person who comes in applies first. We read every application. We don't say yes to everyone — not because we're exclusive in a stuck-up way, but because the quality of the room is the whole thing. One person who isn't here for the right reasons can change the temperature for everyone.

Hosted by a real person.

Every event has a real host — for the September 13 storytelling circle, that's Abhijeet Singh. You'll meet him at the door, by name, by face. He's not a logo on a website. He's someone who once showed up alone too, and who's been trained to make the first ten minutes less awkward.

Story-first, not performance.

At a storytelling event, you bring one true story from your life. Not your CV. Not your trauma dump. Not a polished TED talk. A real thing that happened, told in your own words. The point is the telling — and the listening. The listening is half of it.

One at a time.

We don't run ten events a month. We run one. We do it carefully. The next one is on the events page. When it's full, it's full.

safety, plainly

Hosts

Every host is met in person and identity-verified before they run an event. You'll meet them at the door — by name, by face.

Reporting

Every event has a designated safety contact. If anything feels off — during or after — there is a one-tap report channel in your confirmation message. Reports are acknowledged within 24 hours.

Location

Neighbourhood (Koramangala) is public. The precise venue is shared only with accepted attendees, 24 hours before the event. No walk-ins. No plus-ones without their own application.

Photography

Photography is off by default. If anyone takes a photo, consent is collected for that specific photo. No tagging, no posting, no sharing without explicit per-photo permission from everyone in the frame.

Age

21+. No exceptions.

Refunds

Once your spot is confirmed and the fee is paid, it is non-refundable. We pay for the venue, the host, and the curation in advance based on confirmed headcount. If we ever cancel an event, you get a full refund within 48 hours.
